Confusion about Repeat and Stop At options in framing dialog

LB 1.7.03 Laser is Monport 100W galvo. No rotary table. I have a project with two layers. The first layer is configured as image greyscale for two passes. The second layer is configured for a single cleaning pass. I’d like to run this 3 times. I haven’t been able to get the job to stop at 3 when I set the Stop At value to enabled/3. The job doesn’t repeat unless I enable Run Continuously. But then the job doesn’t stop at 3. Experiments with the Repeat option don’t work either. What can be done to make the job run for 3 cycles?

I have a galvo and have used the multiplier in the first window many times. You have to zero the count and enter the number of cycles.

You can also set each layer how many times it’s processed.

It sounds like you doing the right things… I know these work as I’ve used them, but not recently.

One of the Lightburn people might need to help you if this is what you are doing and you’re not getting the expected results.

To make things more interesting…

You can set a count for each layer to run, and then Globally repeat the sequence of all layers. That does the same as repeat in the framing window.

Today I installed 1.7.04 and now the repeat setting works as expected!
