How can I connect 3 knots/ open lines?
I can only connect 2…
What do you mean when saying “connect”? If you are suggesting having 3 nodes join a path, this is not an option. Show us more of what you intend to achieve, and we may have additional suggestions. ![]()
I have a komlex logo and want to have all forms connected in an svg to export for 3d printing and then choose different objects to extrude them…
connecting blue and red in the lowerst point…
The lines on your workspace are technically a tool path. You cannot have more than two points join together.
I suggest you use a Boolean function to join two separate shapes into a larger shape.
- Lightburn is not a 3D package.
- Lightburn will not control an extruder.
- STL object files are 3D. SVG graphic files are 2D.
You cannot have a vector with branches (3 nodes), The machine would not know which branch to follow.
Thanks…
I am totally in 3D printing…so I know it.
In my case some forms are not closed when I export the svg.
I of course usually use it for laser engraving but it is a heavy drawing tool too ![]()
So sometimes I use it to make svgs…
But I understood what you both told me…thanks.
I thought it worked before but maybe it wasn’t that complex what I did before.
