Connecting Hardwired Computer to Wifi Enabled xTool D1 Pro

I have a Windows 11 machine on a network which has the xTool D1 Pro connected through wifi. I can get to it from xTool native software so I know it is there. I can’t however see the wifi from my PC. I can’t see anything through the Lightburn Bridge or even activate it. Kind of stuck and I want to buy the camera so I can sit inside and watch as well as operate the xTool D1 Pro. Is there software that will enable me to see wifi stuff on the network?

Do you have it’s IP address?

The device could operate as an access point allowing only one connection …

You will need an IP to configure Lightburn. Can your router see the device?

Only works with a Ruida controller…it’s in the documentation…

As I said above I can log into it from the same computer with xTool Creative Space and it’s wifi. I can send it files and everything works but I use and keep up to date on lightburn no creative space.

I’m thinking I should just get a usb wifi and plug it into computer. That will allow me to see and use the wifi right? But still keep the gigabit lan connection?

Since you have the IP, I’d ensure nothing else is connected to it and try Lightburn device configured for wifi.

Are you using the xTool device? Select Ethernet and see if it will connect.

I would assume this going through your lan. Can you see the device if you go through your router?

Probably, but I don’t know…

I think it should work, as is, without you buying more stuff.

Hang in there…

Per the docs:

Soooo, the piece of crap software that comes with it is better than Lightburn? Oh well, I guess I’ll use that software for now…

They complicated the interface, not Lightburn… and they probably won’t tell anyone else how it works…

Don’t blame Lightburn for some vendors tricks to keep you using their software.

Okay guys, I got it hardwired through cat6 ext. with USB3 cables. Really neat little kit, two boxes one to receive the printer cable from computer and the other has 6 USB3 out connectors. What I need to know now is the camera you guys sell wifi and able to plug into USBs. Wifi would be best I guess???
