Connecting lines to make a single shape

I have 2 lines in a drawing and can not connect them to make 1 continuous shape. Can someone help I am stuck.

Thank you in advance,
Kevin

you can use the node editor tool in the tool bar on the left. or highlight the lines you want to connect as long as the points are close and go to “edit/close selected paths with tolerance” or “edit/auto join selected shapes”

let me know if that helps

I have tried 2 of the 3 things you recommended. The “edit/auto join selected shapes” will not allow me to use it.

Kevin

can you post a screenshot of the lines you are trying to join?

Any chance you could upload the LB file?

Yes upload the file if you are willing. It’s easier to help.

How do I upload it not see a spot to attach a file

In the reply window drag the .lbrn file. Wait for it to completely upload then click reply. Or you can click the up arrow and select the file.

When it cuts it does it 2 steps not continuous

Give me a few

Zoom in close,

Node edit both shapes so they are close.

Click both lines and select auto join selected shapes under the edit tab.
Now go to the other corner and edit nodes again. Put them together and they should auto join.
