Connecting Neje BL to lightburn

I am trying to connect a Neje BL N3000, USB connection, but no luck. Any help would be appreciated!

I look this up and I can only find the module, not a machine… Can you give us a link so we can see what you have?

Hope this helps.

Do you have reason to believe this laser is supported by LightBurn or are you just trying to see if it works?

What software are you using now to control it? Is there a welcome message you can take a screenshot of when you connect?

The neje website has Lightburn listed for all of their lasers. I assumed it would work.

Do you have a reference where LightBurn is listed for this particular laser? If so, please link here.

Is that screenshot the only meaningful welcome info or information about the controller that’s available? It doesn’t look promising from this perspective.

Kind of looks like this animal…?

@Shilone it would simplify matters if you could just post a link to the device that has some information on it…

If it’s your machine, I assume you got it legitimately somewhere… where?

Not anymore. I did when I bought the unit 3 yrs ago, but didnt want to spend the money at the time. Now I bought Lightburn and cant use it. That is the only screenshot, sorry.

I’m afraid you will have to dig up some information on it for us to be more help… @berainlb was trying to say is that we need to know if it’s a grbl or some other kind of controller…

I assume this is running windows? The os is important if we need to troubleshoot the issue from the pc side, such as connecting.

With windows, you can see if the device is visible to the os by examining the device manager usb listing. I assume it’s usb?

ok, leaving for the weekend, so don’t look for anything I can find till Monday. Thanks for trying to help!

Ican

find till monday

running windows 10 on usb com 4. working on controller id.

Does the device manager give you any clues? I can get the vendor:product id from the usb connection in the os…

Try this link and see if you get results… the link shows it as vendor&product-id format…

At a minimum you should be able to connect to the Serial Console from LightBurn. If you connect from LightBurn, can you copy and paste the full contents of the Console window here? Or if you’re familiar with terminal programs, any of those would work as well.
