I often have trouble connecting my cutter to lightburn usually having to disconnect the usb leads and switching the laser and Ligfhburn off/on before Lightburn will see the laser on usb port 4.
Often once I have established a connection and completed a successful when I go back to do another cut, the connection has been lost
And sometimes the connection is fine but the laser stops part way through a cut
Any ideas?
USB is a notoriously finicky connection method, unfortunately. Poor quality USB cables or hubs, along with static or otherwise errant electricity from lasers can all cause issues. I’d suggest replacing your USB cable with an alternative (ideally higher-quality) unit, and take steps to ensure your USB cable is fully inserted and protected from being jostled during operation.
