The device settings are just information about the laser, like size, settings, etc. They’re not OS specific, and are made to allow you to transfer the settings between computers.

I Reckon there is no way to import the settings to make it a “default” Lightburn to work with ortur. AS in cover the mm/min instead of MM/sec, pre enable fire button at 1%. Things like that?
There are ways I can do that if I can identify the machine, but if its just “GRBL” that I see, then I can’t make assumptions about what it’s connected to.
I used to have actual machine types in LightBurn instead of just controllers, but there are far too many, and people got confused when they couldn’t find their specific machine, and just assumed it wouldn’t work. Making it controller based cut down on the amount of “I can’t find my machine” emails we get.
