The arrow pointing up and to the right points at an unusual choice for the serial Port for a CH340. The arrow pointing up and to the left is how to access other choices.
if the Driver is installed, click the arrows and look for a serial selection with the letters ‘wch’ in the name. this is the manufacturer of the serial communication chip.
if you don’t have the driver, you may not be given the communication option with wch in the name. You can find the one for the Mac here:
Install the driver, give it permission, you may even need to enter your password. If a screen pops up - don’t click OK reflexively some setups in mac back you out of the driver install with ‘ok’.
