Connection lost Marlin 2 BTT SKR 1.4T

I had Marlin2 running until I upgraded my TFT35 V3 firmware (that might be a red herring) but since then I get this line about every three seconds…
T:25.00 /0.00 B:25.00 /0.00 @:0 B@:100:
this might be correct…?

If I run a simple job in Repetier, it runs fine but the same job in Lightburn it only runs for something like 7-32 seconds then I get this message…
(same if I run gcode or direct from screen)

M106 S51 (my gcode)
G1 X2.2
M106 S0
G1 X3.3

My pc is connected to the SKR via USB
Can you suggest anything please?

Tries it again and got…

I also get this issue with BTT SKR 1.3 and Marlin 2. The controller really is still connected, because you can eventually send a command manually, though there seems to be some kind of delay before it’s ready to do so. I also tried closing LightBurn and opening Putty and just sending commands. This also works.

I am having the same issue with Marlin and SKR Pro 1.1 board. If I save the gcode and run it from the SD card on the TFT it works fine but I can’t get more that a few seconds into a burn before I get the connection lost error.

All other manual controls in light burn work though. Jogging the laser around. framing, click to position etc.

There isn’t a windows driver that needs to be installed for the SKR Pro board is there?

Here is a video of the behavior. Sorry for the CNC noise in the background.

Dan

It is probably re-connected, because LightBurn will do that automatically.

Try changing the transfer mode in Edit > Device Settings from Buffered to Synchronous. Does it get farther?

I know I have tried that in the past but setting to Synchronous worked this time to get through the cut. I’m not meaning to hijack the OP thread, but so far, that is working for me and I will do some more testing.

Thanks so much!

Thank you Oz. Changing to Synchronous allows my print to finish now.
