Console message: "Stream completed in"

I have been using my Sculpfun s30 Pro today without issues. I took my dog for a walk and came back – it will only fire the “move” laser but no matter what I do I cannot get it to move. When I try I get the console message “streaming completed in” but that is it. When I go to close Lightburn it tells me that it is “busy.” It even shows a status bar in the same location as showing the status/time left of a project.

It looks like everything is connected as it should and I dont think im getting any errors (at least in red). I am new to lasers as well as lightburn but I can usually figure out how to fix something but this is the first time ive had any issues.
I have also checked for updates and I am up to date. I have closed Lightburn as well as turned off the machine several times with no luck.

This is what mine (same machine) looks like when powered up and continuous Jog pressed for the Yaxis:

Not sure what this means.

Did you click the Start button here? If you told it to Move using the button, you should see either $J or G00 (or G01) as a move command. Enable Continuous Jog and then restart the PC and Lightburn. Enable Show all in the console window. Then turn on the S30 and select the correct COM in the Laser window.
Now click any Jog button. Go to the Console, copy what is there, and paste it in a Reply.

Hopefully, you will figure out what happened before you have to go thru all of this.

First, I’d try another USB cable, another port on the PC and power cycling everything. Be aware that you might need to disconnect both USB and power to do a real power cycle (depending on mainboard).
The connection seems to be ok basically, though. You can try to reset the firmware settings by sending $RST=* in the console window. Additionally, you can try using LaserGRBL to rule out it’s a LB issue.

While I greatly appreciate your effort in helping me – apparently the issue is that I accidentally changed a couple numbers in the “move” window… I realized I could hear it trying to move so I looked at it and I was moving ever so slightly. However, I didnt realized that I changed numbers by accident until I reset all of the settings in Lightburn to the factory settings to find that my speed for moving was set to an extraordinarily low number…

Please see my updated reply to a user below. It was me not realizing I accidentally changed a number… thank you so much for your help.

Meghan, this has happened to most of us. Don’t be sad, just glad you found it!

Read everything you can find written by @misken . He is the undisputed Guru for the Sculpfun machines. I just have the S30 Pro, but I think he has, or had, them all. He has an online website that is worth checking out.
