I can use the software to move in the X and Y directions. Is there a way for me to control the Z axis and also the spindle speed? Thanks for any help.
First make sure that Z-axis is enabled in Edit->Device Settings.
Then you can use the Z-axis controls in Move window.
On my controller for the CNC3018, the pwm relates to percentage power to drive the spindle.
