Whem laying out peg holes on a cribbage board I use copy along path but I have to go in and manually delete every 6th hole to have a space for hole number label. Is their a way to do a group of 5 holes, do a copy along path with the group and have space between the groups. It is a pain to go in and delete every 6th hole manually. because somewhere along the lineI I will end up with a group of 4 when done.
I believe making the first a virtual array, and then copying that as a 2nd array may be a good way to do it.
Do it exactly like that. Make 5 holes, group them together, then use copy along path spacinga s needed.
I have tried that But the group of 5 will not copt along path and stay on path where their are curves.. I spent an hour in a laser group trying different variations of that and it did not work.
You didn’t say there were curves involved. Yes, the group will not bend around a curve, it will stay exactly as grouped (straight line).
I don’t think single holes will work properly either using copy along path then because the outside track has a larger radius than the inside track and the hole spacing is different. I would use groups of 5 for the straight runs and single holes for the radius portions. The straight lines would need to be broken from the radius for this to work.
