Copy/Paste from input box

So I’m attempting to make one rectangle the same size as another. I attempted to copy the size I wanted from the input box size. I can highlight the numbers but the Copy command does not work. So I need to manually input the numbers.

Hi Colten.

Could you tell us what language you are using - also take a screenshot of the inputs exactly please?

Lastly, LightBurn version?

English. This is on 1.7. On Linux debian bookworm. I can use Ctrl-C to copy the numbers from the input box after highlighting them.

Right so not able to paste.

Cannot replicate on Windows.

@Aaron.F Could you try to replicate on Linux Please?

@Crowloy Thank you for reporting this issue

Umm no. I’m able to paste. Just the copy from a right click menu will not allow a copy to be made of selected text. I am unable to provide a screenshot of the right click menu. It blocks all other input until the menu is gone.

Sorry miss read you - I CAN replicate.

I wasn’t able to replicate it on my installation.
I can copy, paste and cut from the right click menu.
Does yours look something like this?
Copy-Paste-right-click

Are you using the AppImage version of LightBurn?

No. Using the run version of 1.7 image. As soon as I bring up the context menu, highlighting disappears. I can highlight, and Ctrl-C, but the context doesn’t work at all.

Once again, as soon as I bring up the context menu, I’m unable todo any other keyboard command. Like PrtScr. Soon as I remove the context menu, I can use prtscr. it’s rather weird.

So, the context menu does come up. Does it look like the one in my screenshot just with “cut” and “copy” greyed out?

If you can, please try to run the AppImage to check.

they are not greyed out. They appear to be active and can be selected, but since there is nothing to copy (the selected text is back to normal) it does nothing.

Ok tried out the appimage and it does exactly the same thing. select the text in an input box, bring up the context menu and it removes the selection leaving the text, cut/copy are available to use. Ctrl-Z/Ctrl-shift-Z are greyed out. Ctrl C does work

Thank you Colten and Aaron
