I’ve set the background grid to 0.5". I’ve then drawn a straight line and set it on one of the grid lines. I’ve then clicked array and set the spacings to 0.25" and the number of lines to 36. This should make 36 lines with alternate lines landing on the background grid. What happens is that if you count up the lines from 1st set line to last of the lines (the 36th) they get further and further from aligning with the background grid lines. It appears as if the spacing between lines are slightly larger than the 0.25 spacing I set. I have snap setting to 0.05". If I decrease the array spacing to 0.22" arrayed lines better correlate (overlap). Why the cumulative error on the lines (or background grid) spacing?
I’m not seeing that.
Are you zoomed-in enough into the workspace to see the lowest granularity of grid spacing?
Yes. I’ve gone down to full screen only showing the 4 top lines (33-36). The problem persists. Is there a way of burning the background grid instead of creating a second grid on the surface using one of the layers?
No. Can you take a screenshot of what you’re seeing or upload the .lbrn file for review?
