Countdown timer now missing after newest download

After installing the latest update. My countdown timer is gone missing. Any idea on how to get it back. Ortur LM2 Pro is my laser

See if Beginner Mode in the Settings window got checked somehow.

@LenArntson for further clarity, what timer are you identifying? Please share a screenshot of where you are expecting to see such timer displayed. It is not clear to me what you are referring to with this request.

Thank you for your response. Magically it has reappeared. The timer appears directly below the “Laser” on my machine it is on the right hand side of the screen below the CUT/Layer box. Sorry about my lack of knowledge here, I am a neebie. But mystery solved. Thanks to all that replied. Len
