For fun, I replaced my 5MP 160 Degree OV5640 with a Creality Nebula cam. It works great! It doesn’t see the whole 400x400mm bed, only ~280x280mm, but it is spot-on accurate after calibration and alignment - and it has IR, so it works well without any lights on in my enclosure. Thought I’d share.
Update: The upper and lower 60mm or so on the Y axis are not viewable on the overlay, but I can engrave up to the limits of the bed and placement is still accurate. However, I can see the full 400mm on the X axis on the overlay. It’s not a bad solution for ~$30.00 USD. It was also much easier to calibrate than the 160 degree fisheye lens.
Last update: This cam is much more stable than the OV5640 was on my system.
