This is just a sample. I am trying to make a grid. In the center of the grid (football field with team logo), I want an empty circle. I can’t seem to get the fill or lines to stop at the edge of the circle.
Any ideas?

The easiest solution is to put them on the same layer.
I have tried that. when I do, the line goes through the circle. I did the different colors here just for show. I will continue to try.
If you can post a file we can look at, would help.
The above post is 100% the way I do it, too.
When I have this type of operation to do, I will up size the cutout just a tiny bit to leave a very small outline around the inserted object to make it easier to see after the burn (so the objects don’t blur into each other).
