I’d hate to think I can do this, but as far as I know I can’t, right?
I’m disabled and am using the laser out in the garage (Roly M2 laser).
But I’d like to be able to create and layout my projects here in my office (much better chair) and then save them to my laptop and go to the garage to burn. These are just engraving letters and I know I’ll have to make some adjustments after turning on the laser.
But can I do this? The first message I get when trying to do so is something about, “no laser found.”
God a few other questions but don’t want to ruin my welcome. Thanks for your help.
Creating a LightBurn project just using the software on my laptop without being connected to a laser
In the laser tab, click Devices > Create Manually > No Machine > set bed dimensions to match your machine > Set your Origin position and Finish. Now you have a work area that matches your laser and you can design to your heart’s content on this machine and transfer the file to your other computer when you’re ready to engrave.
Huge huge thanks!!!
