Creating slots with Lightburn

Hi I’m a noob with Lightburn and have recently bought a xTool D1.

How can I create a slot in (for example) a rectangle ? Checked several tutorials, but ca only find how to adjust and not how to create.

I want to have the bottom centerpiece to be deleted

so I’ve to think the other way round, actually you add tabs to the first rectangle, instead of “cutting” a gap in it

It won’t be any different, instead of arranging the “fingers” on the outside, you do it on the inside and weld it all afterwards.
“cmd+B” - Boolean assistant, is a fantastic tool in my eyes.
