That should work - you could use their “Process Integration” to invoke a python script and pass the tag data as a command line argument.
The python script would first write that tag data to the merge file, and then start the LightBurn job.
If your NFC writer reads also and if you can access it with python - you could add a read to catch any write issues to the tag or the merge file by having the program read back each to confirm they match before proceeding with the etch.
