I bought a laser that is capable of cutting through wood, but i am not finding the option in the program. is there something specific other than in the layer cut options that i should be looking for??
A diode laser cuts by going very slow and at high power, using “Line” mode. “Cut Through” mode is a setting used on DSP controllers.
so i would just set my laser to a low speed, while making a few passes?
Yes. Low speed, high power, and you likely need air assist to cut anything thicker than veneer in any reasonable time. Diode lasers do not cut quickly.
