I have this issue from time to time where the cut time increases depending upon the location of the image. There seems to be an invisible vertical line to the left of which the traverse lines start at the first black pixel and to the left of which the traverse lines start at the right hand side of the whole image. It’s difficult to explain in words, but hopefully the images make it clearer.
What’s going on? Is this a bug? I haven’t discovered how to reliably reproduce this effect, but it can be frustrating when it adds a significant amount of time to the job.
We would also like to know the settings of the ‘laser window’, “Start from” and “Job origin”
It’s pretty clear what’s happening from the ‘show transversal moves’ being enabled is that the head is moving all the way to the right side on every pass… all of that is wasted time…
The .lbrn2 file would be nice … see if we can duplicate it…
Thanks Jack. It isn’t just this image that I have had the issue with but it doesn’t happen all the time. But I can recreate it with this file. I have captured a video to prove I’m not going mad, but I cannot upload it here. I was hoping it was a known issue but, as it’s not, I shall persevere trying to understand how to reproduce (and thus avoid) the issue.
