Cut up an object to cut individual shapes to reassemble into wooden wall art

I am making a wall hanging of a home. A sort of “Home Sweet Home” kind of art work. I have rendered a photo image of the home into a simple line drawing and used LB Trace Image to create the attached. I would outline various elements of the structure so that I can isolate elements, engrave the element details, and cut each element from various wood species appropriate to the color scheme of each element. For example outline windows and shutters into separate elements sharing the same cut line so that a window is cut from a light colored wood and the shutters from a darker colored wood. Once all the elements are engraved and cut reassemble the elements into a finished wood mosaic and frame for wall hanging. A sort of puzzle. I am familiar with the Cut Shapes workflow (or so I thought) but having some difficulty with sort order or something. I am also unsure of how to do this with the drawing tool such that I can free hand draw lines in such a way that elements adjacent to one another can share common cut lines and one cut line around the entire home.

I’ll continue to poke around but someone must have done something similar before and I would appreciate if the community could aim me in the right direction. Thanks in advance for your support.

It requires a lot of manual work. There are (at least) two options, either tracing the drawing or constructing the house manually in LB.
By tracing the house, all lines are on the same layer and must be manually separated to be assigned their own layer. I will put e.g. windows and doors on one layer, gutters, downspouts on another layer, masonry separately and the roof itself also on its own layer… But it requires that your “raw material” drawing of the house is reasonably precise.
I would probably lean more towards option no. 2 and construct the house from scratch myself in LightBurn, the result will be the same but with more precision.

Btw. I see an “optical construction” problem with the entrance area, it needs to be corrected to fit the rest of the house projection …it may also be that I cannot abstract correctly because I have not seen the original photo.

thank you for your reply I believe I have a path forward. Good idea to redraw, vs trying to pluck out the bits. Essentially use the rendered image only as a template for free hand drawing of the building. I would need to redraw each element in order to perform the “Cut Shapes” anyway. The only additional step would be to fill in the engrave portions, for instance the roof shingles, siding and brick outlines, etc but I think I can manage that pretty easily.
