How do I get the “material” to show at the bottom so I can insert the thickness of the material?
Are you trying to create a new material in the Material Library? If so, you can go to Window > Library to make sure it’s visible, and then look for the tab called Library.
No, I’m not trying to create a new library, when I bought the Two Trees TS2 I bought two of them and gave one to my son. My cuts and layers window has the material setting but his does not.
I’m sorry for misunderstanding you. Would you mind sharing a screenshot of your cuts and layers window so I can see what it looks like?
Hey, not a problem, I appreciate your assistance. Here is a picture of the cut and layers window, the materials is in the lower right.
Material Thickness will only show if you have Z Axis enabled in Edit->Device Settings and have not enabled “Relative Z Moves Only”.

Thank You for that information Berain, I sent it to my son and we’ll see if that does the trick. Changing those settings won’t affect his autofocus will it?
I just reset my settings to see if that would do it for my son and that IS the solution. Thank you again!
