I built a project and set the cuts/layers speed to 10 and saved the project. I then reselected the project and loaded to the art library. When I bring the project from the art library to the workspace the speed in cuts/layers has changed. I’m using Lightburn 1.7.01 on a windows 10 laptop.
Cut settings are not stored in the art library. To save cut settings you need to save the file and open the file not import it.
For some unknown reason.
Nor can you make changes to something in the art library and just overwrite. Instead, you have to type in the same title.
I agree, that’s a little “Clunky”
If you open it from arts folder the name does not populate, and I never figured out what “overwrite files by default” does. Haven’t been able to enable it.
It wouldn’t. The art library is basically saving an SVG in a folder for quick, easy access. Just like importing any graphic from any other location on your system, it won’t populate a filename because it’s not a Lightburn file, it’s a graphic.
Not sure where you’re seeing this.
Doh. forgot to paste it in post.
I can’t get it to enable either, interesting. I’m pretty sure it worked in a previous version. That is supposed to bypass this dialog box.
For me I use the art library for the ones I make changes to and save the ones that I don’t intend to change, so for me it’s a pain to have to type in the exact description and then confirm the change each time.
