Cutting 7-10 mm Mylar on atomstack a5 pro

Hello I’m an Airbrush Artist new to using a laser . I have the atomstack a5 pro . I’m hoping to be able to cut 7-10 mm Mylar stencils . Is this possible ? Can someone please help me with the proper settings ? Thank you I’m advance

Just for clarification, the thickness must certainly be much thinner for stencils… Perhaps 7-10 mil (.007"-.010") or .07-.10mm?

With a diode, color of the mylar will be a MAJOR factor. Water clear will be impossible and most lighter colors (white, yellow, etc) will be extremely difficult. Best luck will be dark opaque colors…ideally black.

Search here for keywords “mylar” and “diode”. I don’t think you’ll find many success stories. Acetate may be a better choice.

7-10 mil Mylar sorry I’m new to all this

No apologies! I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page.
