That’s typically due to USB communication problems:
The Console window will probably show the controller resets every time the job stops.
Replacing the USB cable with a known-good one is a good first first step. Paying enough for a cable with ferrite cores on both ends seems to get enough QC to improve the internal wiring, if you buy it from a known-good seller rather than a random Amazon / eBay / Ali-whatever source.
