I’m trying to cut an image in sections …
I was following the lightburn tutorial Cutting a single project larger than your laser
Now it seems the cut shapes tool doesn’t work on images…
is there a way to do this ???

I would approach an image as a combination of the video you have already mentioned watching and this one:
Image masking tutorial
One of my planned updates is to make the Cut Shapes tool do this for you automatically if you use it on an image. Hopefully before too long.
