Cutting/braking a line imported from Autocad

Hi to everyone.
I’m trying to cut (or break in AutoCAD) a line that is longer than the accepted dimension for my Sculpfun S9. The idea is to break a design in two or more parts not larger than 410x420mm. Of course, one option is to do this directly in AutoCAD, but I am interested how to do this in Lightburn.
Thanks

To do this properly you’ll need to get familiar with a few key tools in LightBurn.

  1. Cut Shapes Tool - This is useful if you need to split a shape and leave an unclosed shape

  2. Boolean Operations - This is essential and very powerful for using 2 different closed shapes to add, subtract, or intersect each other. This will result in a closed shape.
Modifier Tool - LightBurn Software Documentation
  3. Edit Nodes Tool - this is the most flexible but the most manual tool. It is used to move, add, modify, and remove the nodes that make up the path of a shape.

Work through some of this. The documentation is very thorough but very dense. Every line is meaningful.
