Found some pieces of different colored felt in the basement so just for hoots thought I’de see if i could laser cut some designs for free giveaways for the holiday craft show this weekend. Was curious to see if it would cut, engrave, or make a bon fire. Actually it worked. So i cut some 3 mm Birch Plywood for backing and used spray adhesive to attach. Some different colors would have been better but i just used what i had available.
Not at all. I was surprised. No smoke or stench at all. Takes some playing around to get the right speed and power to engrave though. Very touchy because the material is so thin. Bright colors work the best. This would be great for someone doing sewing. Im sure you could other materials. Cloth, etc
