Cutting Gears from 10 mm plywood

To make ropes I needed a “gearbox” with a large gear ratio. Thanks to the great help in this forum I was finally able to cut the gears out of 10 mm plywood.

Matthias has a lot of good stuff, and tools test, lately more Youtube.

@Tilman , do you have any photos of your machine? I’d love to see your setup.

Hey! Nice site and you have a manual mini-lathe for the ropes, keep up the fine work.

Hello dear Lightburn fans, if you are interested, here are my experiences, although I would like to add that I already have suggestions for improvement. Picture 1 and 2: This is what my front and back look like.

Picture 3 is a cross-section of how I would build it next time
