At first it said the cut might be out of bounds but I tried anyway so some of the cutting lines are positioned off to the sides and and making the lines overlap.
Then I fixed it so it doesn’t say the cut is out of bound anymore. However, now the cutting is all crooked and angle is not correct.
Need more info to be able to help. Is this a new machine or new problem? Has it ever worked properly? What model is the laser?
In the console window type $$ then enter and copy/paste the entire output here. Then post a screenshot of your entire Lightburn screen with the Cuts/Layers Panel and Laser Panel visible with your project loaded. Also post a screenshot of the Settings Window (Gears icon) with the Units and Grids tab visible and post a screenshot of the Device Settings Window (Wrench and Screwdriver icon). Post actual screenshots, not photos of the monitor.
OK, new machine. Let’s verify that everything is tight. I don’t see any issue in your settings.
Run this file at your highest speed with optimizations turned off at a power just high enough to produce a good mark. I would run it on cardboard to save material. Then upload a picture of the results as straight on as possible. BacklashTest.lbrn2 (199.0 KB)
You have some MAJOR play in your machine. Go through and check everything. Pay particular attention to the set screws on the motor shafts.
This guide will help you. It’s written for Sculpfun, but most parts are similar.
