Hello,
I have a UV Galvo and have recently been trying out Lightburn to see if I can switch to it from EZ-CAD. My Galvo lens measures 150 mm x 150 mm and the pieces I’d like to engrave are flat sheets of glass measuring 128 mm x 86 mm. My laser has a xy linear stage that, in EZ-CAD, can move in both the x and y directions. I’ve gotten it to move in the x direction on Lightburn but it won’t move in the y direction both if I change from motor 1 to motor 2 on the repeat marking page or x or y axis on the rotary page. In both cases, it always moves the x axis but never the y axis. So my first question is, is there a way to be able to also move the y axis that perhaps I’ve missed? The laser was purchased from China with limited support. My second question, if there is a way to move both axes, is there a way I can upload an svg file to lightburn that has the different designs I’d like to engrave on each plate, have 6 plates on my base, and then move the base after cutting each single plate to cut the next plate?
Thanks in advance!
