Cutting or printing within tool boundry box only

I bought an pattern off etsy, its on one large sheet, they have already organized everything to print into 10x17 sections, about 7. already specified a speed and power

I thought if I imported the full sheet and took one section at a time and moved it into the tool boundry box I set, it will only cut or engrave whats in that box. But I was wrong, it wanted to cut everything on that page.

Is there a way to do so, or do need to save out each section and pull one in at a time?

In the laser window there is an option for Cut Selected Graphics.
