Trying to cut out this crest after I engrave it on a piece of 1/8 birch plywood. Anyone able to help me understand how to do this ?
- Use LightBurn trace feature to trace the image
- Select the traced vector
- Use offset tool with the option of “Outer shapes only”, Outward to create overall outline.
- Delete initial traced vector
- Set layer properties
- Burn

So I got it all done until the last step where you say “Burn”… The only options I get are line, fill, offset fill, Fill + Line. How do I get the burn option ?
Place the outline around the area that you want to cut out. Set the Cut layer properties to “Line” with the appropriate settings.
By Burn I meant press the “Start” button or Send to laser. As in it’s ready to go at that point.
