Am pulling my hair out trying to cut multiple section out of an imported image.
I am looking to create a 3D slice watch dial that needs multiple parts of the image removing. I realise the cut shape feature cannot work with multiple grouped objects, but when I try to do it individually the second cut appears to be a masked layer and I cannot repeat the process.
For this task, I would look into ‘Masking an Image’. Here I show an array of circles to mark the hours of a clock, group them, then locate this group over an image. I then select both the group and image and right-click to expose the context menu, where you will find the option to ‘Apply Mask to Image’
Resulting in the group (array of circles) masking out those parts of the image.
