Cylinder Correction not burning evenly on tumblers

Im really new to this and I have watched a lot of tutorials. This is fyi. I’m not totally ignorant on some settings but not smart enough.

I have a DTC DBF-30 galvo fiber laser.

When I use cylinder correction in lightburn, the the outside letters burn proportionate to the curvature. But they don’t seem to burn as hot. That means the outside letters aren’t removing the coating as well

I measured distance with a tape measure and converted in into mm.

My measurement was 10 in so I converted that to 254 mm.

When I use cad2, it burns good but I can’t get the proportions right.

Is this the right place to ask if my software is set up correctly?

Make sure you’re focusing your laser to a point about halfway into the height of the object you’re engraving, to best take advantage of its full depth of field.

Even if you’ve done so, there is a limitation to what you may be able to accomplish with the lens you’re working with. If the curvature of your object is too extreme, the outside letters may be out of your lasers focal range no matter what.
