Has anyone had this issue with an Xtool D1 pro? Was working fine and now the rotary engraves “blurred “
It’s the offset scan… If you notice, each scan line is offset from where it should be.
P.S. Welcome to the site
in the case of an Xtool D1, more than likely is a very loose X belt
While scann offset would fix it, it will not help when you do vector shapes and they come out wonky
I was wondering about the belt, but when it works correctly in flat objects that threw me off as I would think it would affect anything you engrave?
Run this on a stock machine - Non rotary
maybe on a bit of cardboard
And send results please
Dot Test with Angle.lbrn (46.3 KB)
Thanks I’ll keep messaging with the offset. It was at 4% and when I changed it to “0” it was worse. Does it make sense it only does this on tumblers?
Will do thanks!
perfect when not using the rotary
Question, could you cover a round object on paper and do the test again but on rotary
Also a image of your overall setup.
Thinking something mechanical might be happening as you maybe raise machine to accomodate the rotary under it?
