I’m using mains power, 100% at 10mm/s, the unit has a green light on, I can see the laser moving across the path (just a simple text path), the device is focused. Not a mark on the material (painted steel).
Did you do the focal sweep test shown in the video?
Which color is the painted steel?
Yup, done all that, it’s black.

Thanks for the video. With those settings, it should definitely leave a mark on the anodized surface.
In the first video, I can see that you moved the Z axis until the two dots converge. This is only the correct focus distance, if it was calibrated correctly by the factory, and that’s not always the case.
The red dot we see scanning is only the assist laser. Unfortunately, it looks like the fiber source is defective.

Have you messaged them through the Daja S6 launch FB group? They helped me troubleshoot and Han a replacement module to me in a week.
Yes, I have. It took a week for them to reply so I’m not impressed with their support so far.
Was wondering if anyone found a resolution on the Daja S6? I am having the exact same issue. Cannot get even a single mark even at 100% power. And yes I am focused with the two dots and can see the framing outline
After numerous WhatsApp exchanges they tell me what I already knew. The engraving laser is DOA and needs swapping out.
I’m guessing this is my outcome too ugh. Still waiting for their reply. Really think I should have passed on this. Have they sent your replacement yet?
Not yet. I’m regretting buying too. Last kickstarter I’ll back. They want me to send them the broken component first. Not clear if they want to repair it or replace it. At this point I’d take a refund but I don’t think that’s on the table.
