It was brought to our attention that it would be nice for the new DataMatrix support in v1.7 to handle GS1 control characters so that DoD standard UID tags can be created.
If anyone seeing this works with DataMatrix UID barcodes could you please check out the build here and report back?

Control characters should be enclosed in <> brackets like this:
[)><RS>06<GS>17V8X691<GS>1P02551706-01<GS>S062<RS><EOT>
If all the above doesn’t make any sense to you, then you likely aren’t the tester we are looking for
