my S1 40w is not responding to LB (v1.7.08) anymore (*I also upgraded to LB v2.0 and its even worse). I have checked both xtool and LB for firmware/software updates and everything is up to date. Last time this happened, it was resolved after I applied the latest updates, this time no luck. I have also restarted the software, laser and computer multiple times.
LB recognizes the laser, bc the module resets itself to home when I turn on the laser or when I toggle the Devices drop down. I have re-imported the device files as well. LB repositions the red dot on the screen when I manually move the module and hit Get Position from the Move panel - so no issues there (except after the v2.0 upgrade it won’t do that now either). No error codes in the console but when I try to move the module using the Set Position icon, use the arrows from the Move panel or try to focus - the laser does not respond and the console just responds with Stream Completed. When I try to start the laser, the module moves back and forth a twitch then nothing.
I would use XCS but I get my work from someone who produces LB files and when I try to export to SVG then import into XCS, it messes up the text and duplicates lines to the point I almost have to recreate the entire work file so I’d rather not go that route if there is a fix… Any ideas?
