Hello,
I’m super new to lightburn and laser engraving/cutting in general. I have a 150W CO2 laser and was wondering if it’s possible to cut about 4.5 mm into a 9 mm piece of acrylic, in order to put a post in later, and what those settings would look like.

Of course, you have to adapt the values to your powerful laser, but as a starting point, you have to engrave reasonably fast so as not to melt the material, it has to evaporate.

Thanks, we decided to just mark the area and use a drill press. I wasn’t able to get a flat enough bottom. Offset fill is cool though and I hope to be able to use it more in the future.
