Default size of imported images

I’ve noticed that if I size an image to 3 inches square at 300dpi that light burn imports as a different size. What size will import into Lightburn and maintain the size?

I understand that Lightburn is doing something very different than printing, but many of the tools and functions in Lightburn mimic the tools available in photo editing programs. So I’m just trying to ease the transition and do as much as as possible outside of Lightburn and utilize the pass through function.

LightBurn imports images at their actual specified size / DPI. It’s possible that whatever you’re saving the image with isn’t setting the DPI properly.
