Just suddenly now no matter where I move my design on my screen when I send it to my laser, it stays in a set area. I can move design from top of screen to bottom and send to laser it stays in a certain area
Perhaps LightBurn is in Start from: User Origin mode.
Ruida controllers let you set a specific origin point and the design will be placed relative to that point, as set by the Job Origin dots.
Put it back in Start from: Absolute Coordinates mode and see if that improves the situation.

It sounds like you may have changed your work origin, perhaps to ‘Current Position’.
Give this video a watch, and try changing the start from location. Or, send us a screenshot of your workspace so we can take a closer look.
