Design pushed inward / Shaky dashed lines / Buzzing noise

The laser cutter is Atomstack S30 Pro. I have been using this laser cutter on and off for around 1 year.

The problem is that the designs are pushed inward, causing overlap and empty gaps on one side of the board. Moreover, some lines become vertical shaky dashes. This problem seems to happen when the cutting file is large since when I cut small files or divide the same file into small sections, there seem to be no problem.

Please help! Thank you!

That’s clearly a mechanical issue. Check the mechanics carefully; you are losing steps somewhere.

My previous work was deleted but today I tried to cut a small file and the problem seems to happen even with a small file now. However, when I use the same exact file and setting to cut again, the cut came out fine. I agree it could be a mechanical problem. I tried to check the machine problem but I have no idea what is wrong.

Could you or anyone with this experience please let me know what to check with the machine?

My best guess is the motions themselves are causing a bad contact on one of your stepper wires.

Review the whole wiring harness.
