Designing stencils

Is there a way, when designing more complex stencils in lightburn, to easily see which areas of a stencil will be cut out and which will remain? For example, having all the areas that will be cut out and get removed show as black while designing? For example if you look at the two flower buds, you can see how I am designing the bud on the right so that parts remain in order to have the seeds be cut out. However, as I am designing this, it would be immensely helpful to have the areas that will get cut away show up in black.
lightburn question

Hello Betsy,

You can set the layer to Fill instead of Line. When you are done designing you can set it back to line again.

Changing to Fill mode is a step in the right direction.

As a next step, I would use the Preview window. You’ll be able to see the closed shapes.

This video was released today. I’m just checking now but I have a hunch it might be fairly helpful for you.

Something I was unaware of until recently was the options in the “window” menu where the filled layers can be selected to show as wireframe or filled. That is a huge help to me when figuring out which shapes are closed or not.
