What material are the letters made of, and what laser did you use to cut them?

Letters are 1/4 Baltic birch plywood cut with Atomstack A70 Pro Laser. Base is just a piece of 2 x 4 cut to 1 1/2 x 1 1/2. Would probably look better with a hardwood base like Maple or Oak but didn’t have and pieces laying around that size.
