Different lines width

Hello everyone,
I have a small problem.
I bought a 10W Laseradapter for my Ender 3 S1.

If I want to laser a rectangle, not all 4 lines are the same thickness.

What could be the problem?

Diode lasers, specially higher power ones >5W, are not perfect square dots

What you are seeing is the result of this
Your dot is a little rectangle, so if you move UP your beam is wider and will do a little wider mark
if you move side to side is narrower.

Known issue with diodes

Is there a solution for this?

Software settings?

Nothing you can do about it as is all about the optics of the laser itself

No but there is a possible solution if you have the room on your workspace, rotate your material and your rectangle 45 degrees. I use this method to get equal kerf on both X and Y axis.
