Is there an explanation for why the lyrics don’t have the same strength?

This is a bit of physics at play.
The text of the lyrics is smaller and thinner, so the ability of the laser to deposit its power and burn the wood is not as great as the outer text.
I would separate both in different layers, and slow down the speed on the lyrics so the laser is able to mark better
