Dimensioning Lines

Is there a way to dimension lines within the software so that my designs can be exact? I want to be able to constrain lines to be a specific dimension, not just estimate it based upon the reading of the size info in the left hand corner of the window.

Also how do I get lines to stay connected?

I have tried to connect to lines to make a 90 degree angle, but when I change the dimension of the vertical line, it disconnects from the corner?

I want to be able to dimension lines similarly to Autodesk inventor as show in video below.

I’ve been learning Fusion 360 and there are many useful constraint features within that program. It’s been posted here previously that LightBurn (or any other laser controlling software) is not a CAD type of program. I’ve created a constrained file in the past, within Fusion 360 and used a plug-in to export it as an SVG file, but it loses the constraints, of course.
